Gondal Fulbe
Gondal Fulbe Development Initiative is a community-driven dairy cooperative empowering smallholder farmers — especially women and youth — across Northeast Nigeria with training, technology, and reliable market access.
Gondal Fulbe Development Initiative is a dynamic, community-driven agricultural cooperative advancing Nigeria's dairy transformation agenda. Founded to empower smallholder dairy farmers in Northeast Nigeria, we support 28,857 members across 632 communities in Adamawa State — 65% of them women.
Operating through five functional milk collection centers with a combined daily intake of 14,760 litres, Gondal Fulbe is the critical link connecting smallholder farmers to formal dairy markets, modern veterinary care, and financial inclusion.
To empower smallholder dairy farmers — especially women and youth — through quality inputs, modern technologies, and reliable market linkages that enhance income, food security, and social wellbeing.
To become Nigeria's leading model of a sustainable and inclusive dairy cooperative, transforming rural livelihoods through innovation, cooperation, and market leadership.
Collective prosperity over individual gain. Inclusive participation of all community members. Cultural respect and traditional knowledge integration.
Guiding every decision, and ensuring our growth is inclusive and sustainable, as we transform Gondal into Nigeria's leading dairy cooperative federation.
Collective prosperity over individual gain.
Quality in every litre, every service, every interaction.
Women, youth, and marginalised communities at the center.
Open governance, traceable milk, accountable leadership and participatory decision making.
Profit that endures, for people and the planet.
Honesty and ethical conduct in every transaction.
The Gondal Fulbe model: when a community has knowledge, economic identity, safety, and a single point of support, transformation follows.

Knowledge is the most transformative asset we offer — bridging the gap between traditional pastoralism and modern dairy excellence, from animal health to financial literacy.

With 65% female membership, empowerment is not a programme — it is our operating model. Women are the primary stewards of dairy in our communities.

Income security, food security, and social stability for farming families in one of Nigeria's most challenging regions.

A complete ecosystem — inputs, markets, finance, training — removing friction at every step of a farmer's day.
Farmers deliver milk to Community Cooperative Centers, where it is weighed and recorded digitally. Cooperative motorcycle riders transport aggregated milk to Gondal's Milk Collection Centers for quality checks and bulk delivery to market — and the farmer gets paid. Input services flow back to farmers at a discounted rate for being part of the system.
